Oracle Database Hosting
CLA-OIT supports enterprise-class Oracle database and application products for specific projects. Due to support and resource requirements, other alternatives such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or Postgres should be considered before selecting Oracle.
Eligibility
University faculty, staff, and graduate students
What We Do
- Provide Oracle Database Standard Edition hosted on a dedicated server.
- Run database backups, as arranged.
What We Don't Do
- Provide administrative access to the database instance.
What You Need to Do
- Complete and maintain a data storage plan.
- Provide funds for server hardware.
- Perform all database programming.
