Accessibility

Accessibility is required. Users with disabilities or with limited technologies will visit your website with screen readers or have images turned off. The Web Team offers expertise in this area and has tools for analyzing websites for accessibility.

Navigation

Design, content formatting, and navigation should be consistent throughout a website so visitors know what to expect and where to find information. The Web Team creates Dreamweaver site templates and cascading style sheets making site maintenance simple.

Design

Not all site visitors have a high-speed connection to the Internet. Downloading large graphics over a modem can be agonizing and will turn visitors away. The Web Team optimizes all graphics.

Your website will not look the same to all visitors. Because of varying screen resolutions, web pages can look different even when viewed in the same browser. The Web Team sets standards to the lowest common denominator of browsers, HTML, and cascading style sheets so websites are functional and appealing on a variety of hardware and software setups.

Content

Content is separate from design. Content is the key to a great website and is the responsibility of the CLA unit.
