Web Development
The CLA-OIT Web Team offers professional web services—consultation, design, development, and maintenance—to CLA units, free of charge.
As University policy dictates, CLA web pages must meet accessibility standards. If a site or page does not meet these standards, any accessibility issues will be addressed by the Web Team prior to or in conjunction with web design, redesign, or maintenance services.

The Web Team will work with units on site analysis, site structure, and design.
Consulting
Already have someone in your department able to create a new look and feel for your website? The Web Team is able to consult on website structure and design before or during your unit’s design or redesign process.
Self Service or Website Review
Already have a website completed? By submitting a URL, you can have the Web Team review your site to check for functionality problems, accessibility, and University policy compliance. Facilities are available in our Anderson Hall office to test websites in multiple browsers and on multiple platforms as well as with a screenreader program.
Website Maintenance
Content maintenance can be done by the Web Team or by the department.
- The Web Team offers website content maintenance with an average turnaround time of 24 hours.
- The Web Team strives to make maintenance easier by creating websites that use site templates and cascading style sheets. At the end of each project, a Web Team member will provide one-on-one training with the designated departmental website maintainer(s). Dreamweaver training is also available through the University Technology Training Center.
