Custom Hardware Configurations
CLA-OIT encourages users and departments to select from one of the standard or enhanced configurations, but we recognize that some situations require custom solutions.
Funding
CLA will fund $500 of approved custom computers. Printed Budget (PB) laptops are allocated an additional $200 of funding for a total of $700. To receive CRP funding from CLA, custom configured computers must be one of the following models:

- Apple iMac
- Apple Mac Pro

- Apple MacBook Air

- Desktop 06C
- Laptop 07C
Support
To receive technical support from CLA-OIT, custom configurations must meet the following minimum specifications:
- Enterprise-class vendor & model
- 2 GB RAM
- 80 GB hard drive
- Gigabit ethernet
- 802.11 b/g/n (for laptops)
- DVD Burner
- 3 year warranty
