Loaner Laptop and Equipment Pool
We provide a wide selection of well-maintained equipment for your teaching, research, administrative, and/or travel needs. Need a laptop for you next class? Would you like to reduce the risk of losing or exposing all of your files on your next trip? Take one of our loaner laptops instead.
Eligibility
CLA faculty, staff, and graduate students
What We Do
- Provide technology-related items for checkout:
- Apple Laptops
- Windows-based Dell laptops
- Related adapters and connectors
- iPads
Android-based Xoom tablet
- Consumer-grade video cameras (e.g., Flip)
- Tripods
- Projectors
- Reservations for up to 2 weeks long.
- Online schedule and reservation system.
- Reimage laptops between checkouts for fresh, reliable configurations.
What We Don't Do
What You Need to Do
- Return equipment on time (others have reservations after yours).
- Pick up and return your item(s) from 110 Anderson Hall.

Pickup and Return
Standard Support Hours
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Also by appointment.
- Excluding University holidays and closures.
Reservations
Networked Systems
24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Excluding scheduled maintenance.
- Requires reliable network connection and other University infrastructure systems (may be outside of CLA-OIT control).
