Technology Purchasing
CLA-OIT provides technology purchasing services to ensure you get the right technology for your needs at the best price. We take the confusion out of technology purchasing and handle all of the paperwork.
Eligibility
CLA faculty and staff
What We Do
- Provide a catalog of recommended technology items.
- Prepare systems for use on University networks through initial operating system configuration, configuring security settings, installing licensed software, etc.
- Order item(s) for CLA faculty and staff.
- Deliver item(s) to departments.
What We Don't Do
- Order items unrelated to technology.
What You Need to Do
Availability
CLA-OIT Office Hours
Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Excluding University holidays and closures.
- May rely on an individual staff member's availability and subject to vacation, sick leave, and other events.
- Scheduling an appointment may be useful.
- Some individuals may be available earlier or later for scheduled appointments.
Our Commitment
Orders are submitted within 1 business day of approved request. Vendor shipping time varies from a few days to a few weeks. Deliveries are made within 3 days of receiving item from vendor. Average resolution time is 7-14 business days.
